At Maine Lobster Now, we only deliver North Atlantic live lobsters that are wild-caught using the latest responsible sourcing methods that help ensure the crustacean’s long-term population and support thousands of independently-owned businesses. You can feel confident you’re eating great-tasting lobster that’s sourced responsibly.

Unmatched Quality and Freshness

We always handle our live lobsters humanely and responsibly. We purchase our lobsters directly from wharfs along the North Atlantic shore and immediately transport them to our storage facility. We keep our lobsters in a saltwater tank that is maintained at a temperature that promotes their health and enables them to thrive until the day they arrive at your home.

We source our North Atlantic live lobsters directly from independently owned wharfs along the North Atlantic coast. Maine state law limits the size of harvested lobsters to 3.5 lbs., so lobsters larger than that are harvested in federal waters and brought back to docks in either New Hampshire or Canada. Each day the docks trace their landings to the lobstermen and women who catch them, and we trace our lobsters to each dock where they landed.
